Optimizing psychosocial-spiritual well-being in later life

Introduction:
Late adulthood is full of challenges. Older people may encounter age-related changes and/or major life events, such as role changes in families and societies, health issues, and deterioration of physical function. These challenges may impact on psychosocial-spiritual well-being of older people if they are not well prepared. The purpose of this seminar is to give an overview on psychosocial-spiritual well-being indicators of older people in Hong Kong, and to describe key factors that influence on the well-being in later life. More important, self-help tips to optimize the well-being will be highlighted.
