When stepping into the old age, older people transit their role into grandparent. Grandparent can affect the family relationship, and hence the intergenerational solidarity. Grandparent also affects the growth of each family member particular the younger generations. On the other hand, the role as grandparent entrusts with important life meaning to the older people, in which, the older people actively engage into their lives and achieve successful aging. This seminar aims at sharing the joys and worries of being a grandparent, introducing recommendations to become a happy grandparent.
