There is a rapid development of advanced technology in caring of older people. In recent years, a lot of advanced technology products have been developed to facilitate the caring of person with dementia. It is expected that the safety and functional independence aspects of the person with dementia will be enhanced through the use of advanced technology. This public seminar aims at facilitating general public to understand the development and application of using advanced technology in caring person with dementia. Besides, by using local and foreign examples, it introduces how advanced technology can enhance the quality of life of person with dementia.
