Caregivers and the older people hand-in-hand to face chronic disease

Introduction:
As one ages, there are many changes that take place in the body. The presence of chronic disease will even make older people become frailer and require long-term caring. In this regard, informal and family caregivers play a crucial role in caring for older people at home. In the process of caring and interaction, conflicts and misunderstandings may increase due to stress and inappropriate communication. This seminar aims at promoting mutual care between older people with chronic disease and their caregivers through introducing communication skills, stress management skills, and wellness activities. The goal is for them to live in harmony and face the chronic disease together.
