Smart tips for quality sleeping

Introduction:
In older adulthood, elderly may be having trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep. Some may be even feeling not getting enough sleep. Older people may perceive that they have problems with sleep. Indeed, insomnia can be a serious problem which may affect the lifestyles, health, emotion and interpersonal relationship of older adults. The seminar aims to explore the causes and effects to the older people, the treatment options to help them to have a better understanding of insomnia so as to achieve a successful and active aging.

  • What is insomnia?
  • The signs and symptoms of insomnia
  • The causes and effects of insomnia from the aspects of psychological, biological, environmental and lifestyles.
  • Introduction of assessment method
  • Explain the treatment methods to improve the problem of insomnia
